Favorite Memory: I will never forget the first time I saw a team of pharmacists, physicians, and nurses saving a life. Henry and I were about to leave on our last day of rotation when a code blue was called. For more than 30 minutes, my only thought was: wake up, wake up, wake up. When he finally did, it was truly a life-changing moment.
Note of Thanks: I want to thank my family, friends, and mentors, but especially my mom, Vanessa Seguí. She has been my inspiration, my hero, and the reason I can now call myself a doctor!

"My life is my story and the adventure ahead of me is the journey to fulfill my own purpose and potential."
Favorite Memory: I was a very shy student and during group projects, class meetings, or gatherings, I could always hide or sit in the back, sometimes choose to not participate or talk, or just avoid attending stuff. So, most classmates didn't know what I was capable of doing or how much I knew! All of that changed during my fourth year rotations, where I had no choice but to stop hiding or avoiding to attend, and participate in different things.
Note of Thanks: Dear Molly, Sr. Sissy, Dr. Amy, Adrienne, Jackie, Leslie, Mercy, Ronald, Vincent, Josephine, Stuart, and Staron, this is just to thank you for all you've done for me and to tell you that your immense support and care from undergrad to pharmacy school is what got me here today. You will all be remembered long after graduation.

"If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants."
Favorite Memory: I remember walking off the stage after the White Coat Ceremony to find my entire family and friends cheering me on. Seeing how proud they were watching me cross the stage is a memory I will never forget. Recalling their joy pushed me throughout my pharmacy school journey and got me where I am today.
Note of Thanks: First and foremost, I thank God for guiding me throughout this journey. Thank you to my mother and father for their unrelenting encouragement; my brother for his unconditional support; my Grannyma for her consistent prayers; my aunts, uncles, and cousins for their never-ending love; my friends for their constant positivity; and my mentors for their continued guidance. This degree is not just mine, but ours as a unit. We did it!

“What lies behind us, and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Favorite Memory: I will never forget the time I volunteered at the HIV clinic and a young woman came in to be tested. When I asked if she had any plans for the holidays, I realized she was homeless and didn’t have any food to eat. I quickly found some snacks for her and watched as she ate for the first time in days. I was touched by the gratitude she gave for such a simple act. It gave me a different perspective, which I carry with me to every patient encounter. I hope I can continue to help those in need.
Note of Thanks: I wouldn’t be celebrating today if it wasn’t for the support from my parents, unconditional love from my brothers, encouragement from family, laughs from friends, confidence from bosses, and excellent treatment from my doctors. Without your help, none of this would be possible. Thank you!

"Daddy, I learned from you that 'there are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.' I left accounting for pharmacy because I hoped to take care of your health challenges. I always dreamed you would be my first patient. I did not have the opportunity to be your pharmacist, but I am grateful that even prior to graduating from pharmacy school, I have already served hundreds of fathers and mothers in different parts of the world. As I move on from here, I promise to stay focused on the bigger things ahead. I dedicate this to you, Mr. Limen!"

Note of Thanks: I want to give thanks to God, my parents, loved ones, and my core group of friends here at UMSOP. Without them, my success would not have been possible. Pharmacy school is extremely difficult and will test your strength, but having a solid group makes the journey worthwhile because of the support they provide. The faculty and staff whom I'd like to give special thanks to include Dr. Charmaine Rochester and Ms. JuliAna Brammer. I thank you two for believing in me and providing me with many opportunities and keen advice during my time at UMSOP. Favorite Memory: One memorable memory from my time at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy occurred during my time as a student researcher for the Center for Global Engagement's international project in Nigeria. This experience helped me gain valuable research skills and create strong connections and networks with students from other UMB schools.

My profuse thanks also go to the pharmacy team, especially the clinical pharmacists at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, including Drs. Emily Zoelle, Christine Meaux, and Claire Leocha. Your mentorship and advice have propelled me to be my very best! Finally, I would like to thank my professors, UMSOP school administration, as well as my classmates at the Baltimore and Shady Grove campuses. You all made this journey enjoyable and memorable. I wish you all success in your future endeavors!

Favorite Memory: The most memorable parts of pharmacy school for me were the experience and friends I gained during KY pledging, and being able to work with the amazing Group 7. I am glad we all clicked and had a great time throughout all of the cases and lab work. I'm glad the class I entered with was so amazing that I would not have wanted it any other way.
Note of Thanks: First and foremost, I want to thank my amazingly supportive family. They've provided me with support and guidance towards all of my endeavors. I cannot thank them enough, and I hope I can continue to make them proud!

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Favorite Memory: As a student, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to experience pharmacy abroad not once, but twice! I did research in Banjul, Gambia at The University of The Gambia School of Medicine and I completed a rotation in Ancona, Italy at the Ospedali Riuniti Ancona. Both were very rewarding experiences that shaped my outlook on pharmacy as a profession. I was able to immerse myself in Gambian and Italian culture, and fell in love with both countries. I was even able to make new friends along they way and share my extended experience in these countries with some of my closest friends outside of pharmacy who came to visit me. The memories I mad during both trips are priceless.
Note of Thanks: First and foremost, I would like to thank my parents for the love and support they have given me. I could not have made it through these four years without you both. I am honored to be the first and only doctor in the family. I would like to give a big thank you to my wonderful mentors and UMSOP alumni, who have been there to advise me from my first day of pharmacy school until my last. Thank you Odera Ekwunife, Stephanie Udoye, Olivia Akubuilo, Alvileen Diggs, Laetitia N'Dri, and Christine Nkobena. It is a blessing to have strong and ambitious African women such as you all setting the standards that you did. Thank you for being the role models that you were and giving me the support that I needed. I would also like to thank my closest friends, who have supported me in this extremely long journey. Thank you Alisha, Segun, Opey, Abriana, Saron, Nardos, Wingnay, Jack, Bongnwi, Noella, Olivia, Damilola, Adeola, Kendrah, Nicole, Ya Awa, and Monique. Also, thank you to my cousins Jennifer, Vivian, and Trudy. I appreciate you all for being my biggest fans, checking on me frequently, and always sending encouragement. Everyone played a vital part in my academic journey and I cannot thank you enough!

Note of Thanks: Even though I cannot walk the stage, graduating from pharmacy school is still one of my greatest achievements. This accomplishment is not just for me, it is for everyone who has supported me throughout my pharmacy school journey. To my church family, who kept me lifted in prayer, thank you. Your prayers have been an amazing support and I am grateful. To my friends and family, who have supported me through the good and the bad and love me unconditionally, thank you. Your constant encouragement has helped me to push through and continue towards the finish line. Lastly, and most importantly, to my mother and father, THANK YOU! Words could never express how grateful I am for all that you have taught me and sacrificed for me. You have made me into the woman I am today and I could not have made it without your love and support. I love you now and forever.

Favorite Memory: Group 3, I hope you guys had as much fun as I did. No more struggling to get full points on the cases (did we ever got full points anyway?). Andrew, the champ of "getting us more points."
Note of Thanks: The last four years wouldn’t have been easy without the help of my family. You have been my number one cheerleaders, source of reasoning, motivation, and comfort during difficult times. Thank you so much for your support. Mama, without your sacrifice I wouldn't be here today. Thank you, mum. Also, my "pharmily" friends and other friends, thanks so much to you wonderful people.

“What feels like the end is often the beginning.”
Favorite Memory: Balancing pharmacy school responsibilities while parenting two young children has been by far the most challenging aspect of pharmacy school. Striving to be both a successful student and parent was incredibly exhausting, both emotionally and physically. I vividly remember the night before my first exam, when I was hugging my youngest in my lap, while scrolling through notes on my laptop with one hand and rubbing my other child’s back with the other hand. I wondered to myself if this was what they meant by "balance." These four years took a lot of work and sacrifice, from me and my family, but it was more than worth it!
Note of Thanks: The past four years of school have been exciting and time-consuming, but above it all, fulfilling! I have made some lifelong friends and I have also discovered myself in a different way than I ever thought I could. God has gotten me through so much and I can say with confidence that He has been there since the beginning to get me where I am today. With the encouragement of my entire family, friends, and mentors, who have been there for me through it all, I made it. Thank you to every single one of you who have supported me on this journey!

Favorite Memory: I enjoyed attending round table meetings in the Pharmacy Hall Atrium. It was very nice to meet with pharmacists and be exposed to different opportunities in practice. While enjoying the gourmet food, I made new friends and built my professional network.
Note of Thanks: To Drs. D.Z. Mansour, N.J. Brandt and C.S. Raman, I want to express my deepest gratitude for believing in me. You inspired and encouraged me to work hard in pursuit of my goals. I learned a lot from you. The knowledge you imparted is greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank my family for their undying support. These last four years have been very challenging. I commuted daily to school while trying to satisfy all of my requirements as a pharmacy student. I tried my best in meeting the needs of my immediate family as a mother and wife. I supported and cared for my aging father, who unfortunately passed away a few months before graduation. All in all, it wasn’t a smooth ride, but it was worth it. I give thanks God!

Favorite Memory: One memory I have is co-hosting "Rock The Smoke Out" in Pickles Pub. The audience seemed to enjoy their time at the event, I had a great time behaving like a fool on stage, and we raised awareness for a good cause: smoking cessation.

I would also like to thank my "ΦΔΧ Skwaaaaa" members Salwa, Rochelle, Kevin, Yolanda, and Anthony.
